Teaching communities to fish. Empowered women equals empowered communities.
From March to May 2025, we held a business training facilitated by Emerging Leaders, with an average of 34 participants, including girls from Cohorts 3 and 4, available mothers, and some staff.
The sessions focused on self-leadership, overcoming negative thought patterns, financial management, and business project planning. As part of the training, the girls were challenged to develop a startup business idea, helping them think creatively and practically about entrepreneurship. A mental health component also equipped them with tools to manage everyday stress.
It was an empowering and transformative experience for all involved. At the end the participants were awarded certificates. We wish the participants all the best as they pursue financial empowerment.
