MARCY OYOO
Co-Founder and Trustee
Has worked with girls and women who have been victims of sexual exploitation for over eight years. Through this vocation, she learned about teenagers and young mothers in prostitution. She rallied like-minded friends and began Ubani Trust. She is passionate about discipling young people and equipping them with skills to better their lives. She brings on board her expertise in strategic planning, program development and management, organizational management, and leadership skills.

ALICE KANDA
Co-Founder and Trustee
Enthusiastic about empowering and supporting young women.
Her passion is to eradicate prostitution, sexual abuse, teenage pregnancies, by supporting movements like FGM and vouching for early interventions and mitigation strategies. She is a wife, a mother, and an active member in her church.

SAMMY KENT MANGELI
Trustee
Brings a wealth of expertise in the areas of strategic planning, resource mobilization, organization management skills, pastoral care, and leadership. He is passionate about transformation and seeing real change happen. He is a husband, a father and a man zealous for God.
Our Board Members
Our board is headed by eight members - one is nominal. Three are of these are our trustees.

SYLVIA NJUKI
Board Member and Administrator
A graduate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nairobi. She is passionate about the development and psycho-social well being of children and has worked in different organizations like Kenyatta National Hospital, Childline Kenya, and St Martin CSA. She brings onboard diverse experience in child counseling, addiction counseling, and management of mental illnesses. She is a wife and a mother committed to the things of God.

JAQUILINE IWIYA - MUNGAI
Board Member
Has strong commercial acumen with diverse experience in strategy, development, and building brands. She is passionate about innovations that generate new or unique solutions. She develops and leverages relationships to appropriately stretch and impact performance by delivering results, creating value for brands, customers, key stakeholders, and the overall business ecosystem. She is passionate about delivering business missions and inspiring hope in people. She is a wife, a mother, and an active member in her church.

FRANK KOINE
Board Member
An entrepreneur in the entertainment industry. He is a gifted musician and music producer. He is passionate about social justice and is part of Toccata Music Productions; a music performance charitable organization based in the UK. He has contributed to Toccata’s efforts to reach vulnerable communities in Kenya, India, and Sri Lanka. Through his work in live music production, he has traveled to various places including Germany, New Zealand, Norway, India, Sri Lanka, and the USA as a musician, cultural ambassador, and music missionary.
Frank is a husband and father currently serving as a missionary in Germany.

CAROLINE RITA ONYANGO
Counseling Co-ordinator
Has over six years of experience in the rehabilitation of women in prostitution. She uses her expertise and skills to train our beneficiaries. She is an excellent counselor and trainer. Her passion is in people development and likes sharing the skills she has with others. She is a wife, a mother and a devout Christian.

PERPETUA MWANIKI
Social Enterprise Coordinator
Coordinates the social enterprise arm at Ubani Trust. She also participates in one on one counselling and teaching of religious studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nairobi and loves to hike and travel

MILKAH MALIKA
Social Services Coordinator
A professional counselling psychologist with over four years experience.Working with youth and children gives her a deep sense of fulfilment and satisfaction. She is a born again Christian, a wife and a mother of two. She enjoys baking in her free time.

DANIEL OUKO
Learning Facilitator
Ensures that participants of the program are well trained in relevant skills which lead to sustainable substinence. He also acts as an unofficial chaplain to the staff team and young women at Ubani Trust
